Classroom Workshops (CW)

Classroom Workshops (CWs) are instructional facilitations that introduce and emphasize the importance of civic engagement and volunteering, provide hands-on opportunities for students to engage in civic engagement outside of the classroom, and to help students grow in their sense of self/social identity. We partnered with the AVID program within our schools to provide workshops in. AVID is a class for 9th-12th grade which focuses on and encourages college and career readiness as well as overall personal development/growth.
